ICTCIT 2025 : Call for Papers
INFITT (International Forum for Information Technology in Tamil) is pleased to announce that, in close collaboration with SRM Inst of Sci. & Tech, Chennai, its flag event, International Conference on Tamil Computing & Information Technology (ICTCIT) 2025, will take place at the SRM Chennai (Kattankulathur campus) during 19-21 Sept. 2025. The conference will address exciting applications, particularly the impact of AI tools and techniques to language technologies: large language models
such as Llama, generative AI tools and related technologies.
We hereby call upon the research students, faculties and researchers from academia and industry interested to present their work to submit their abstracts for consideration by the Conf. Program Committee (CPC). Interested authors are requested to send a 1-2 page abstract of their paper on one of the topics listed below.
CPC will select papers for presentation in one of the technical sessions of the conference.
The content should be an original piece of work not presented in any other conferences or seminars in the past. All abstracts and papers will undergo a blind peer-review process and the decision to accept the paper will be final based on their recommendations. Best papers and presentations will be recognized with special certificates and monetary prizes for each of the nominated papers.

- Computer-aided teaching and learning of Tamil
all as applicable to Tamil language

- Information Retrieval and Search Systems for Tamil
- Multimodal Interfaces in Tamil
- Ethics, Inclusion, and Responsible AI
- Bias and Fairness in Tamil NLP
Responsible AI for Regional and Under-resourced Languages - Multilingual AI and Inclusion: Tamil in the Indian and Global Context
- Ethical, Legal, and Policy Issues in Language Technology for Tamil
Technology, Devices, and Access - Smart Devices and Tamil Language Accessibility
- Internet of Things (IoT) and Tamil Interfaces

The submission of the full paper should be in Unicode format with not less than ten pages but not more than twelve pages. The paper can be in Tamil, English, or bilingual (Tamil, English).Papers written in Tamil should include a one-page summary/abstract in English.
If at least one author does not pre-register and confirm attendance, the paper will be withdrawn and not included in the conference proceedings.
